Kota Meh Bamies
½ pounds fresh okra
3 pounds chicken pieces
L large onion, chopped
4 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (16 oz) tomatoes, chopped
1 cup hot water
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
Prepare okra. In Dutch oven, brown chicken and onion in butter until golden. Season with salt and pepper. Add tomatoes water and parsel. Cover and cook 30 minutes. Add okra and continue cooking until okra is tender. Do not overcook or overstire. Add more water, if needed. Serves 4 to 5.
